  • A discrimination-proof process — the Code of Practice on Avoiding Discrimination sets out the duty to check all candidates the same way
  • A substitute for the actual document scan / DVS submission
  • Sponsor-licence compliance documentation — that's separate under the Worker / Temporary Worker routes
  • A guarantee — Home Office gives a statutory excuse only where the check was done correctly
