Confidential support when your team needs it most
A 24/7 confidential helpline with qualified counsellors, structured therapy sessions, legal and financial guidance, and specialist support for trauma, anxiety, and complex mental health. Your employees and their dependants are covered.
Someone to talk to, whenever they need it
Life doesn't wait for office hours, and neither does this helpline. Your employees can reach a qualified counsellor by phone, chat, email, or video — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Every conversation is completely confidential.
Whether it's anxiety about work, a relationship breakdown, grief, or something they can't quite put into words yet — there's someone ready to listen and help them take the next step.
- 24/7/365 confidential helpline — no appointments needed
- Contact by phone, live chat, email, or video call
- Qualified counsellors on every call — not a recorded message
- Immediate crisis support for employees in distress
- Counsellors available with specific language and cultural backgrounds
Real counselling, not just a chat
When someone needs more than a single conversation, they get it. Short-term structured counselling sessions are available, delivered by qualified therapists using evidence-based approaches. For complex cases, extended support of up to 20 sessions is available.
This includes specialist psychology — CBT for anxiety and depression, EMDR for trauma processing, and tailored support for neurodiverse employees. It's proper clinical care, not a wellbeing app.
- Short-term structured counselling sessions per issue
- Extended counselling — up to 20 sessions for complex cases
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, stress, and depression
- EMDR therapy for trauma and PTSD
- Neurodiverse support and specialist psychology pathways
- Guided self-help CBT programmes for mild-to-moderate issues
Legal, financial, and life support built in
Mental health doesn't exist in a vacuum. When someone is struggling with debt, a legal dispute, or a situation at work they don't know how to handle — those stresses compound. That's why the EAP includes dedicated helplines for legal advice, financial guidance, and debt support.
There's also a confidential whistleblowing service, a manager support line for leaders dealing with difficult situations, and on-site or remote trauma support when critical incidents happen.
- Legal helpline — employment law, family law, housing, consumer rights
- Financial guidance — budgeting, benefits, pensions, tax
- Debt support helpline — confidential advice on managing and reducing debt
- Confidential whistleblowing service for reporting concerns
- Manager support line — guidance for leaders handling sensitive situations
- Trauma and critical incident support — on-site or remote, within hours

Exactly which dependants the EAP covers, and on what terms, is confirmed in the signed Data Processing Agreement and supplier schedule. Talk to us and we'll share the confirmed scope in writing before you commit.

A separate line for line managers facing a sensitive situation with a team member — guidance, not therapy.

Common questions about the EAP
Is the EAP truly confidential?
Yes, completely. Employers receive aggregated usage data (number of calls, broad topic categories) but never see who has used the service or what was discussed. Every conversation is protected by professional clinical confidentiality.
What's the difference between the helpline and structured counselling?
The helpline is available immediately for in-the-moment support and guidance. If someone needs ongoing support, they're referred into structured counselling — short-term structured sessions with a dedicated therapist, scheduled at times that work for them.
What does "dependants included" actually mean?
It means your employee's partner, spouse, and children can also access the full EAP service — the helpline, structured counselling, legal advice, financial guidance, and all other support lines — at no additional cost to you.
How quickly can someone get a counselling session?
For the helpline, there's no wait — they call and speak to someone straight away. For structured counselling sessions, initial appointments are typically arranged within a few working days, depending on availability and the employee's preference.
Is the EAP available separately or only with the GP service?
The GP service and EAP are bundled together as a single add-on for £2 per employee per month, on top of the £4 base plan. They're designed to work together — a GP might identify a mental health concern and refer directly to the EAP, or vice versa.
