Why we built WagePerks
In 2024 the UK SME owner faces a stack of problems that no single tool solves: payroll software handles payslips, but not the rotas. Benefits providers sell perks portals, but the team rarely opens them. HR platforms run profiles, but cost ten times the value they deliver to a 30-person business. And the headline "people platforms" — BrightHR, HiBob, Personio — lock you into multi-year contracts at £15–£30 per employee per month.

How we operate
- UK only. We don't sell outside the UK. The product is built for UK statutory rules — bank holidays, holiday accrual, DBS, right-to-work, NI numbers, P60s, GBP.
- No private equity. We're independent. We don't have a five-year exit horizon driving aggressive renewal-pricing tactics.
- Rolling monthly. We earn our keep or we don't keep your business. Cancel any month with 30 days' notice.
- Transparent pricing. £4.50 PEPM is published; the optional 24/7 GP + EAP add-on is quoted on demand based on team size.
- UK-hosted data. All employee data is held in UK-based AWS infrastructure. GDPR-compliant retention policies live in our data retention policy.

How we earn customer reviews
We do not pay for review-platform placements, and we have not yet stood up a Trustpilot, Capterra, or G2 profile. Once we have a customer base large enough to support those profiles honestly — with real reviews from real WagePerks customers rather than empty stars — we will publish them here. Until then, the founder's LinkedIn DM and demo follow-up emails are the routes to share feedback.
