WagePerks + Xero

Publish payroll runs from Xero Payroll to the WagePerks payslip module, with employee record sync in both directions.

Status: On 2026 roadmap Xero website →

What this integration does

The Xero integration lets a UK SME using Xero Payroll publish each pay run automatically into the WagePerks payslip module. Employees see their net pay, tax breakdown, and YTD figures in the same app where they redeem benefits, request leave, and view their HR record. Admin teams stop emailing PDFs.

In direction two, WagePerks syncs new employee records — start date, contractual hours, holiday entitlement — back into Xero so payroll setup is one entry rather than two.

What gets synced

  • From Xero → WagePerks: pay-period date range, gross/net amounts, tax deductions, NIC, pension contributions, P60 data at year end.
  • From WagePerks → Xero: new starter records (subject to the employer's RTI-readiness checks), holiday balance changes, leaver dates.
  • Manual reconciliation still required when an out-of-cycle bonus or correction is run; both sides surface the variance for the payroll administrator.

Status — on the 2026 roadmap

The Xero integration is not yet shipped. We are scoping it now and expect to publish a confirmed delivery date during Q3 2026. If your procurement timeline needs it sooner, talk to us — we prioritise the roadmap on confirmed buyer demand.

What works today without the integration

WagePerks already runs a standalone payslip module today (one of the eleven base modules). SMEs use it as the in-app payslip distribution surface until the live Xero API integration ships. Talk to us about the current ingest options.

How this fits

WagePerks consolidates the eleven modules a UK SME actually needs — benefits, HR, rotas, GPS clock-in, payslips, documents, e-signatures, onboarding, recognition, absence, surveys — at £4.50 per employee per month all-in. White-label included. Rolling monthly.

The integration with your payroll engine (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Payroll, BrightPay) sits underneath the payslip module — payroll stays with your existing engine, employees view the output in the WagePerks app.
