What works today
WagePerks doesn't run payroll. Payroll stays in Xero Payroll, run as it is today.
Each pay period, the payslip PDFs that Xero produces are uploaded to WagePerks, one PDF per payslip. The Xero payslip layout is set up once from a sample payslip; after that, WagePerks reads each payslip and files it under the right employee by National Insurance number. Staff see their payslips, and their P60s, in the same app where they use their benefits, request leave and view their HR record. Admin teams stop emailing PDFs.
What isn't built
There's no live connection between Xero and WagePerks. Pay runs aren't published automatically, employee records aren't synced in either direction, and there's no payroll API. If a live connection matters to your procurement, talk to us.
How this fits
WagePerks consolidates the modules a UK SME actually needs. Employee Benefits covers benefits, HR, payslips, documents, e-signatures, onboarding, recognition, absence and surveys at £4.50 per employee per month, with your logo and colours on the web portal. Rotas and GPS clock-in are the Shift Management bolt-on, from £49 a month. Rolling monthly.
Whatever payroll software you use — Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Payroll or BrightPay — payroll stays there. Its payslip PDFs are uploaded to the payslip module, and employees view them in WagePerks.
