What this integration does
The BrightPay integration is built for UK SMEs running payroll on BrightPay. Each pay run published from BrightPay flows into the WagePerks payslip module so employees view their payslips in the same app they use for benefits, leave, GPS clock-in and HR — without PDF email distribution.
WagePerks also feeds new joiner records and holiday balances back to BrightPay so the payroll administrator works from a single source of truth.
What gets synced
- From BrightPay → WagePerks: pay-period range, gross/net amounts, deductions, NIC, pension contributions, payslip line items, year-end P60s.
- From WagePerks → BrightPay: new joiner records (name, NI number, start date, contractual hours, holiday entitlement), leaver dates, holiday-balance changes that drive accrued/used hours, contractual changes.
- Reconciliation surface flags any drift between the two systems for the administrator to clear before payroll close.
Status — on the 2026 roadmap
This integration is not yet shipped. BrightPay is high on the roadmap because of its share of the UK SME and payroll company market. We expect to publish a confirmed delivery date in Q4 2026. If your timeline is shorter, talk to us.
What works today without the integration
WagePerks already runs the payslip module as a standalone today — it's one of the eleven base modules. SMEs use it as the in-app payslip distribution surface until the live BrightPay API integration ships. Talk to us about the current ingest options.
How this fits
WagePerks is the eleven-module SME portal at £4.50 per employee per month all-in. White-label included. Rolling monthly. Payroll stays in BrightPay; WagePerks does benefits, HR, rotas, GPS clock-in, payslips, documents, e-signatures, onboarding, recognition, absence and surveys.
